Flagrante Delícia ♥

Flagrante delícia is portuguese for blazing delight. And is the title of my favorite desert blog, 'baked' by the wonderful Leonor de Sousa Bastos (who has an exquisite taste for poetry) and capture by Miguel Coelho. Click for the portuguese or the english version.

I've been using her recipes for a while and they never disappoint me. Last week I've tried these delicious pieces of heaven... (obviously these are my photos...don't forget to check the 'real deal'!)

Areias de Cascais (little biscuits for tea, coffee...or any time of the day)

Queques rápidos de iogurte ~ Quick yogurt muffins

I'm sorry, but I haven't find the english version for Areias de Cascais and quick yogurt muffins...I think they aren't available yet.

Glamour at the Olympics ♥

How many of you have dressed up like The Spice Girls, danced and sung your lungs out when you were kids? I was about 9 or 10 when they first appeared and I would always impersonate Victoria. And yes, I sang their lyrics even though I could't spell the words properly or didn't have idea of their meaning (well, you can imagine how I felt some years later, after learning english and be able to translate "Two Become One"...).

Anyway, I was delighted to watch them again in the Olympic Closing Ceremony - they where absolutely glamorous and, once again, Victoria was my favorite.

Also, I was really impressed with Jessie J vocals (I actually didn't know she could sing) and by her stunning Vivienne Westwood nude jumpsuits (mainly the first one) - it takes courage (and an amazing body, which she actually have) to wear one of those things. She was absolutely fearless!

And how wonderful was Kate Moss in this Alexander McQueen?

And congratulations to all our athletes, specially Fernando Pimenta and Emanuel Silva, who brought silver home!

Black leather & gold...

I bought these studded ballerinas by Carpe Diem (I haven't heard about this brand 'till know) on sale a couple weeks ago...aren't they adorable?

And, by the way, meet Yoshi (I like to name other things besides my pets...) - it's a lovely hand cream pot, you can buy it here.

My sister's affair...

So, today I was walking around the house and my sister was making a little photo shoot of her Melissa/Mel collection.

She has been on an affair with those little pieces of plastic for a while...

She has a couple of pairs more but they weren't at home. So she used my only two pairs of Melissa to complete the set...can you guess which of those are mine? My feet are really small...
